Great festive atmosphere and excellent service. Perfect for a celebration 🎉. Tuna sushi cocktail and fries calamari were really good and the wine was top notch. My strip steak was good but not amazing. When you cook steak at home it's hard to get to that level going out but it was fairly solid. Overall all of us had a great time!
The two times I've come here with my brother I'm always met with a lovely service. Jackie is the best bartender, she makes a mean strawberry mojito and the short rib Mac and cheese is my favorite thing ever! Also the key lime pie does not disappoint! The atmosphere is met by really good music and the chatter people at the makes it such a good vibe for drawing. So good I made a quick doodle. Will be sure to stop by more often for that good food and atmosphere.
Shaun was amazingly attentive server. We come to Witherspoon for all our special occasions as a couple, from anniversary to Valentine’s Day and always enjoy our meal. Not once have we been disappointed in 10 years. The crab cake can’t be beat. Thank you Witherspoon for making our date nights so special and personal.
I have been coming here for a while now and each and every visit is a good time. Jackie and Jamie always pour good drinks especially with their Mojitos and Old Fashioned. They are also very friendly and always treat guests well It's always a great time and food wise I am a huge fan of their burgers as well as the Branzino when it rotates in their specials. Not once have I ever had a bad service here and it is my favourite place to visit when I am in Princeton
Witherspoon Grill is a great spot with a comfortable atmosphere, friendly service, and a solid menu. We had a really nice time here, and it is the kind of place that works well for an easy meal, drinks, or a relaxed night out. The patio and happy hour menu were a nice bonus. Definitely a place I’d come back to.
The food is delicious and the drinks are good. The service is amazing! Kaylynn took excellent care of my party today but everyone is very helpful. I can't wait to go back.
This was not our first time at Witherspoon Grill nor will it be our last. We went here to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary and our outing started off with two glasses of champagne from the restaurant. It was such a beautiful day that we eat outside on the patio, our server was awesome, and the food was just as amazing. My wife got the fillet tips while I got the hanger steak with a side of blue cheese fondue This place never disappoints so do yourself a favor and give it a try
Went here to celebrate a friend and it was a great experience. The ambience was excellent, especially in the middle of a huge snowstorm. The calamari and the thick cut bacon were superb. The picanha steak was okay, nothing super special. The steak fries that came with it though were cold. Other than that, everything was great and would come back here for another special occasion.
This was our first trip to Princeton and we happened upon the Witherspoon Grill Friday night for dinner. The food was delicious. We had steak as well as the cheeseburger, along with oysters as an appetizer. Both the steak and burger were seasoned just right and cooked perfectly according to our requests. A special shout out to William who was our server. He is both professional and personable and we think he’s a great asset to the business. My daughter and I highly recommend the Witherspoon Grill for great food, very nice atmosphere (either al fresco or indoors) plus amazing service!
We visited this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. It has a beautiful location with a great view overlooking the university street, and parking was easy and convenient. We ordered the Cobb salad, the Four Cheese Bread, and the steak. The Four Cheese Bread was absolutely delicious, and the steak was cooked perfectly. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. The service was outstanding. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, making us feel very welcome throughout our meal. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a pleasant dining atmosphere.
